To be fired for cause in 48 hours would take a Jon Gruden-level media blitz hellstorm starting NOW. I'm talking ESPN, New York Times, and cable news networks reporting on it. You're an idiot if you think it happens by Friday. Two months from now? Maybe.

Nah I can't see letting him go through the full week of prep for a game and firing him before it. If it happens mid season it will probably be on a Sunday.

That would be solid, come Sunday, Woody sends Orgerons arse back to Larose. The threats of violence on behalf of Orgeron is what would be disconcerting about the situation. Who knows what O will do.

The wheels haven’t officially come off. That happens this weekend. I expect one of the worst showings we’ve seen by an LSU team in a long long time. These kids have quit on O.

One said by Friday and the other said Thursday I believe. Personally I'm not putting too much stock into it. It is unfortunately more interesting to speculate about that than what's going on with the actual team currently though.
