"my happiness is not based on whether LSU wins or not..."

you gotta walk that fine line - to really enjoy football you have to be serious and passionate, but if you go too far you end up a wreck and never enjoy it unless the team and coaching is perfect, which doesn't happen.

i see too many posters who can't enjoy football anymore this season. I too may feel like that momentarily, but i let it pass and put things in perspective.

When I was younger I used to let this stuff get to me but not anymore. Good thing I did that

I enjoy football, but Saturday was a Les Miles performance with passing instead of running, and the passing wasn’t too great

SW's happiness may not be based on winning, but his job is!

Well we’ve already seen us keep a coach a season too long because we enjoyed the A&M game thinking Les was getting fired, showed love, and in return the president thought we wanted to keep him so I’d rather continue to show disgust until he’s officially out. I will not let the Facebook moms win again

My happiness is based on looking like we belong on the field in the first place. Given the circumstances, if this team came out, looked prepared, played a crisp game, no clock issues, no play calling issues, looked well coached etc, most fans could accept losing some games. But the big arse turd sandwich that has been trotted out onto the field the last 15 games has sucked the fun out if it for many. When that happens, it’s time for a change. We’re there, time to get rid of that fricking clown.

Can’t ever let this situation stretch out like the Miles one. Woody is beyond aware of that I’m sure.

100% correct. If LSU has to be on top to enjoy college football then you are out of balance. LSU may not be as fun to watch but there is a lot of good football to enjoy. Plus, LSU will get a home run hire and be beating bama in the near future.

Is it too much to have expectations & have a win attitude every damn year?
