We were poised to take home a lot this year in recruiting. Going to take massive hits now with coaching uncertainty and piss poor execution on the field. Not looking good overall. Hopefully if O is gone it’s a home run hire and he can make up ground. Expect to lose alot. Only chance we have is that most are LA guys that may just want to ply for LSU regardless.

I’d be worried about transfers also.

Yep, this is a much bigger concern. In other years you could bet anything that the top players wouldn’t leave because they wouldn’t want to sit out, but now anything goes. You could lose your whole starting lineup to division teams for their money year.

Y’all do this every year, and it stabilizes

Time will tell who goes and who stays. Just part of it.

What does it matter if they aren't coached up?

Yea. Win Saban shows up at Neville it’s going to get real. I’m sure he will make a big loop through Louisiana during their bye week. He always does.

Most will still come to lsu of the ones that are already committed.

You have to worry about guys like law, shazz, and jacoby.

Everyone is licking their chops. When things are stable at LSU, it’s almost impossible to pry someone away.

This and if you have turnover then you have to be ready to sacrifice one class.

Just keep walked Howard and the 2 big olineman and hope that Woodward moves quickly

I remember Alabama fans MELTING when it took them so long to hire Saban though

Realistically, if you have a bunch of transfers that just means that a freshman could come in and compete to play right away. I'm sure that's what the coaches will sell. If you are a great player, do you want to go sit at Bama or Clemson or play your first or second year on a team with national brand like LSU? A good portion of these guys want to play early and often.

I’d say if we can still sign 3/5 you mentioned, that would be a win. 2 weeks ago I would have said we land all of them.

Really want Wiggins and Mathews. If I had my way we’d land 4/5. And get Tapp and Law also.

Brand new staffs on both side of the ball takes more time than a week.
The talent is there and there is no way these defensive and offensive coaches do not know what they are doing.
To many years coaching in the NFL and some even playing. The problem is reps in real games.
If they are given time it will come together. Problem is two fold, one last year hurt O reputation gravely, and most kids now days have no loyalty or patience.

2017 was the foundation of that 2019 championship in a transition year.
