Is the new MTV , no weather just drama series at night, lord a tornado comes! First thought was do they really get better ratings showing these series.

It's like how CNN Headline News used to have 30 minute newscasts on repetition. I knew people who used to watch it for like 2-3 hours in a row.

The Weather Channel’s problem is people tune in, get the weather info they need, and tune out. They are in and out in less time than it takes to register as a viewer on the Neilson Ratings. These long-form shows are a way to combat that.

maybe, just maybe if there is a hurricane you might see a bit of weather but most times you wont even get a weather radar with the local weather updates that scroll so fast you can barely see anything from it besides the temps.
they gave up showing the weather and expect everyone to use their cell phones to get actual local weather info
its just storm stories 24/7 now

The Weather Channel served a purpose during the 1980’s and early 1990’s. Since the internet, TWC is really useless and managed by attention whores and drama queens.
Sure, they had attractive eye candy. But if you are serious about weather without the political bullshite, your best bet is to search NOAA websites.

Her size used to change occasionally. There was one period where she had some the size of cantaloupes in there. She had them deflated to a "C" last year.
I no longer have cable so I don't know what she is sporting now. TWC is good to keep on, with no sound, while you read the hurricane threads. The facts and figures are helpful.

Even the Weather Channel app sucks now. An ad pops up when switching between daily/hourly/radar and all points in-between. Was my go to weather app for years now it just pisses me off

The Weather Channel spits out more climate change propaganda than the MSM. Even the commercials are climate change garbage.
