Ran into someone on the Germantown staff a week ago and he told me it was UGA by a a wide margin,then Clemson and Alabama.

We pulled the top player in the state of Mississippi last year.

Dude is a freak show, very explosive and good center of gravity. Breakaway speed gives him that 1st round potential.

He committed to Bama.

We take him for sure, but I don’t think the staff is thinking they have a true shot, they’re concentrating on La guys although they lost one as of right now (Moss)

fwiw, Lake Charles Prep (Travonte) played Germantown (Branson's team) a few days after IDA hit due to GHS's opponent forfeiting due to covid and LCP needing an opponent as well. GHS won the game but LCP was way more talented imo, just outnumbered and way to many bonehead mistakes. Both backs were contained for much of the first half but man both showed out the rest of the way. Travonte had issues slipping taking handoffs almost the entire game that cost him some yards but man I've never seen a kid that size glide so smooth. If you put him on Germantown's team I think his rating would be even higher than it is now based on what I saw. The wideout Keshlon #4 for LCP was also pretty dang good too. Kids got some wheels.

Zxavian Harris for Germantown was the difference maker though. They lined him up at OT and Nose guard and LCP center wanted none of that. Numerous bad snaps all night. Ole Miss is getting a good one. Was glad to get to see some LSU recruits play in central ms. GHS is 6A btw
