As a fan in Alex Box, this is one of my favorite plays. We go Bananas in LF for those!

NO. now that I realize it, I never added him back to my New(2019) Facebook account. Dammit.

He's my favorite LSU player ever. And the nicest dude to us peasant walk-ons.
He and Gilyard both treated us like equals.

I was there for only a year. My Locker was next the biggest a-hole on the team, Andre Lafleur.

Mostly being part of a team.
But,
Basketball: Setting nasty picks, dropping in a hook shot
Baseball: Starting a 3-6-3 double play, hitting a gapper back when I could run.

ETA. That "you did NOT just do that to me" look you get when you score on a black guy. lol

Football
- I loved the sideline drill in junior high practice for a while because I was the 2nd or 3rd hardest hitter on the team. Then one day they decided to pair me up with my buddy who was by far the hardest hitting guy on the team, and it fricking sucked.
- Gamedays
- Solo sacks and TFLs
- An odd one, but I loved being on the kickoff team and roasting a blocker in my lane.
- Catching a pass in a game was always awesome becuase we only threw the ball like 3 times a game.

Baseball
- Picking a ball at first for the out
- Catching a perfect throw to tag a runner out
- Any RBI

Soccer
- An assist on a corner
- Scoring on a header off a perfect cross
- Embarrassing the goalie on a breakaway
- Ripping one into the upper 90 and the ball gliding along the seem of the net

Golf
- Leaving school early to go to the course to practice
- Ripping driver 300 yards down the middle on #1 at Timberlane
- draining long putts in a match
- The nerves on the range before a match.

I played basketball but I was awful, so I don't miss it at all.

Good thread

Definitely not a fan of two-a-days, especially in August, in Ga , right next to the Hooch for that added humidity factor.

Strangely enough I was a fan of bull in the ring, especially when I was in the middle. Absolutely pulls the Neanderthal DNA out of the depths and makes you return to that deepest/darkest part of us hidden away by thousands of years of evolution..............Well... that and it lets you crush the couple of douchebag teammates you don’t very much care for. :)

The best song anyone has ever done on this subject is Kenny Chesney’s “ Boys of Fall”

Hit’s me in feel goods every time I hear it

Nothing better than sacking the QB and hitting a line drive right at the pitcher

My mom filmed just about every football and basketball game I played in. I thought about transferring them over to dvd from VHS and starting a YouTube page. Thought it would be cool bc all the teams we played from district and the would be able to watch, I’d imagine some of those guys never seen any film since highschool, I haven’t either. Would also be neat for guys to show there kids how legendary they really were in highschool.

But to answer the OP, obviously scoring touchdowns in football but for basketball it was swatting someone’s layup when they didn’t know you were behind them.
