Some of you baws are so naive. Obviously, the decision to take us to war by Pres. Bush, VP Cheney, Sec. Rumsfeld etc wasn’t taken lightly. After 9/11 and the vacuum created after the Cold War if we didn’t act our international standing would have been damaged forever. It was in our national interest to reassert ourselves
You have to be trolling. Supporting the Iraq War in 2021 has to be a troll.

We had no business invading *insert country here since WWII*
We had plenty of business invading countries since WW2, including Iraq. Our mistake in Iraq was trying to install a democracy. We should have installed a dictator and left as soon as Hussein was executed.
As to Korea, Vietnam, etc. you could debate whether those were invasions, but they were necessary to stem the tide of commie aggression and subversion.

Having Saddam in power was order. He may have been a butcher, but he kept the butchery primarily if not entirely in Iraq. He hated terrorists more than us....bad for business and you can't control them.
