I'm not going to lie - I like his patience and vision at the LOS.

He seems to always get caught from behind - so not sure on his speed.

But I love the way his finishes his runs.

Yeah, he's slow and cannot break away, but has good hands and balance. Nice power and vision. Reminds me a bit of Pierre Thomas.

This has to be the least impressive UDFA class we've had in years. DB's Bryce Thompson and Trill Williams are probably the best of the bunch, and the only ones who were among the top UDFA's at his position. It doesn't look like a great UDFA class, at least according to Gil Brandt's UDFA list on nfl.com

Y’all and these BS analyst’s rankings are hilarious.

Getting Trill is great! I think he has the potential to be a really good backup to Marcus Williams in the centerfielder role.

Don’t know much about Smith. Just looking at his size and people critique him, is there any chance he’s on the PS for a year or two then comes in as a FB/H-back type guy? Or is he really just a RB?

I've actually seen player comps to CJGJ, which I may like even more, if only as insurance that we have a healthy CJGJ-type on the field at all times. Imagine having two of those scrappers.

One of my favorite DBs to ever play at Wisconsin. Jim Leonhard loved this dude. Plays with a ton of passion and was a multi-year starter on a top defense. Really, really hope he sticks.

Let’s just wait for the season to play out. All we need to do is have 2 of these guys hit and the udfa period will be a legit success just as it usually is for us. I think we got some solid guys. Some of the “top guys” on Gil’s board, might not have been on our board for a variety of reasons.

Gil Brandt's UDFA list on nfl.com

What are you talking about?? Trill #1 and Bryce #2 and others are ranked but that's just his opinion.

I really thought they would snatch a QB. Makes me like the Book pick even more than they haven’t addressed QB in UDFA

Absolutely not! Didn't you see what Mel Kiper and Gil Brandt said? Do you even know who they are?

Everyone who cares about the mock drafts should be fricken ecstatic about the Syracuse DB

The one to get off that team was Cisco. Would not have minded if we took him in the third with one of our two picks...

Our new favorite 3rd tight end was already a Saints fan.

DS: I’ve thought about it a little bit. Growing up in Arkansas, there’s no NFL team here, so you kind of just root for whoever. It’s funny you reached out to me though because I was a Saints fan growing up. Drew Brees was that guy for me. I missed him by a year, but that’s OK.

The DB out of Tennessee has a shot at making the team.

I don’t follow this too closely, but wasn’t he projected to be drafted?

That should make those who follow the cult of Kiper praise the Saints for getting them as an UDFA.

Yea this is hilarious, some of y’all should do homework before making asinine comments that show you know nothing.

Fun fact, I was actually at the cowboys game when he was inducted into their ring of honor.
Not bad for an ‘analyst’ lmao
