My wife (no pics) works with a person who has been a Marshall at Augusta for the Masters for over 20 years. Allegedly, this year Reed’s wife was was walking the course on her phone. When she was approached by a Marshall then a member, she told them that she was working on her husbands affairs. The next time she was approached, by the police, she was escorted from the property. Hooray for the private club!

And yes, he did get me the pimento sandwich t-shirt. Awesome!

Friend of mine that is a marshal said he saw her late Sunday afternoon. Apparently, they let her back in.

I would think that they only kicked her out for the rest of that day. (Not sure what day this was). From everything I have seen, this is normal behavior for her.

Every time I see her photo I think she’s trying to fart out a bowing ball

She was probably firing tweets at people on his burner.

I have a friend that was a caddie on the tour and Augusta National doesn’t care who you are when it pertains to phones.
They aren’t having it.

And that's not only during Masters week.

Even if it isn't true, it is pretty sad that everyone knows it is highly possible. You never want to be someone that people think something like this sounds like you.

I watched Fatrick play in the LA men’s AM when my buddy Thomas Galloway was paired with him. He was actually super skinny then. PR missed a 3 foot birdie putt on 18, shot 68 and threw a fit like you would not believe. He was being such a bitch that his dad (I assume) walked him around the Money Hill clubhouse to the parking lot instead of the short way through clubhouse so no one would see him. I’ve been telling people that story about some kid I watched throw the worst golf tantrum I’ve ever seen since it happened. When PR got on tour I said that’s the guy! Of course no one believed me then but they do now

What's the deal with phones on the course?

Many top private clubs don't allow cell phone use on the property. I played Shoreacres in Chicago (top 50 in the US) a year and a half ago. When we arrived, the first thing we were told was that if we needed to use our cell phone, we needed return to the car. About 10 minutes later, someone in our group pulled out his phone to take a picture of the course behind the clubhouse, and someone ran out of the pro shop to ask him to please put his phone away. It's just a rule at a lot of the exclusive private clubs.

Agreed. He wouldn’t name the player but they were on their phone while eating lunch - a member (green jacket) asked or rather forcefully told the player to get off the phone.
Note - this wasn’t during Masters week.

I approached her at the Zurich for a pic a few years back. She was wearing a hat and said..."Sure....but I look like shite today". Then I asked if she wanted a drink from the walk-ons tent. She politely declined.

At Pine Valley they have the greeter that meets you at your car and shows off a nice phone case with Pine Valley logo and asks if you would like one for your phone which most people do..he asks for phone and promptly tells the players about the now cell phone on the course policy and that he will return phones when round is over...true story as my boss fell victim to it
