Actual Houston resident here:
I don't want "choice." I want cheap, reliable electricity. Fun fact: I moved to Houston from Massachusetts last year, and I pay more for electricity in Houston (for less reliable power) than I did in socialist (oooga-booooga) Massachusetts.

Then stop bitching about it and move back to MA. We won't miss you.

Carry your arse back to Boston, Yankee.

I've enjoyed it.
Using the powertochoose website every year has given me significant savings over just renewing with the larger providers like I used to do.
Last week sucked, but not enough for me to want to lose those yearly savings. Those lower rates help alot in 100 degree summers with a poorly insulated 2nd floor.

So one County commissioner is TRYING to explore this? That's nothing.

Lol you actually think an inner city is ever going to work towards cheaper living?

I've been on monopolized grids and free to choose grids. There really isn't much of a difference in the month to month charges in my opinion.

Actual Texas resident here (I was born here, I didn't move here because the shite policies I voted for became too expensive - like you).
Move the frick back to MA where Princess White Beaver can shove her 1/1024th Native American balls up your arse for you to brag about.
STFU. Stop bitching and move the frick back to where you came from, you carpetbagging POS.

A generation is what? 40 years? This is the coldest temps in 36 years, here, officially. Differs from city to city here in Texas.
But most of us live longer than a generation, so you have to take that into account. I turn 45 this year and this will be the SECOND coldest temps here in Texas in my lifetime, not the first.

the Commies that run Comm. Ct. now want to link us more with the fed. govt. and northeast as much as possible. They'll crush our petrochem industry more and make us dependent on fed govt. Depressing.

If Houston left Texas then the state/republic would stay red forever.
Maybe it could be a city-state like the Vatican? As long as they cant vote in Texas elections I would be 100% for this.
You Houston Baws just need to move outside the city limits and you would be good.

Houston should join the Gulf Of Mexico.

Rely on Louisiana for power, yeah, that'll last long
