I have looked all over the place and have gotten a vast range of prices. Got a quote for 22K at a place in Kinder. 30k from general steel. 34K from pro structures in Texas. Pro structures claims they can do it for much cheaper if I do a 24x50 with a couple lean to enclosures on both sides. Any recommendations? Also called metal building outlet and they can’t seem to get a quote to me for a non erected building for shite. Any recs are greatly appreciated!

A buddy got a great price recently from coast to coast carports. I think they are out of arkansas.

Mueller and Mallet seem to be the "go-to" in south LA. However they build differently....one being pole barn style and the other red iron.

22k actually sounds decent based on the quotes I've gotten recently for a 30x70. Once you go past 32 wide the prices go up significantly due to the type of trusses that have to be used. Another excuse is that materials have gone up due to covid.

Not an excuse, it's real. I work for a manufacturer. We've just had a price increase and announced an April price increase. Raw materials and transportation cost have sky rocketed.

Muellers hands down. If you look at the buildings that survived the storm Muellers did really good. Its all about the doors. Get heavy duty doors. If you’re looking for the cheapest they won’t be but it has a chance to be standing with all your crap in it. Not many pole barns survived the storm.

Do you think prices will come down at all within the next year? I have a little time to wait.

Like I said in a home building thread. Don't expect building materials to come down to what they were. Prices are up and they will stay. People will still buy and build and they know that. Once things are in abundance, maybe they'll come down a few bucks, but don't expect anything significant for a long while.

May just do an L shape, wanting a shop/man cave. Trying to get quotes from people has been a huge pain in the arse. Either they are too busy to care about the misses or salesman suck. And from experience it’s probably both.

Muellers hands down

Do they install the building? Or do you order from them and find your own labor/diy?
