Twice a year I have real bad allergy problems. Early fall and early spring.

Usually Claritin D does the trick for me but it’s gotten way worse.

I know they have allergy tests to figure out what you are allergic to but is there anything else that a dr can do? Any kind of injection or RX pill?

You can try shots. I did weekly shots as a kid, but mine came back as an adult. You have to be pretty consistent with the shots for a long period of time and then taper off. It's supposed to cure you of allergies. I was pretty young when I was getting shots, so I don't remember how consistent I was getting them, but I know I still have allergies. And if you get the shots for a year or so and then give up, then it was all wasted time.

I currently take Zyrtec and use a nasal spray daily. It kinda works for me. Apparently I'm allergic to every tree and grass and weed according to test results.

The thing that frustrates me is I never had issues until my mid 20’s.

Have had problems all my life. Soon to be 60. Constant battle. Inhalers and on Xyzal and Zyrtec.

Maybe crazy, but mine completely went away when I stopped eating grains and went carnivore/keto.

Fifty five and had them bad enough to have had two surgeries. Get tested and then get shots or drops. Make sure they treat you for everything you respond to. It is sooooooo worth it.

Try to breath through your nose as much as possibly.

Mouth tape at night while sleeping, has helped my allergies tremendously.

Claritin stopped working on me a few years back. This year I went with Allegra and wow does it work!

There is no doubt that leaky gut makes allergies worse.

Manuka honey - add ii to hot tea or coffee daily

It helps in addition to otc and prescription meds.

Same here. Im 33 and have dealt with allergies during the fall/spring for about a week or two each for the past 5 years after never having issues. Im on the back end of the allergy issue right now.
