Big time player that looks to be set to be one of the leaders going forward. Dominant player.

Can’t wait to see Andre Carter help turn Roy into a monster on the DL

I watched the Florida game the other day. I saw Roy rag doll O linemen on consecutive snaps in a crucial situation. This kid will be a star at some point.

Roy, Guillory and Smith are going to be fun to watch the next season.

Hester said on the radio that Roy was un-blockable at times in the latter part of the season. Would be awesome if all the returning players get in great shape and stay healthy, and new recruits like Maason Smith and Sage Ryan are as advertised.

I'd personally like to see Jacobian Guillory break out and be a beast.

I noticed him too. Especially in the Ole Miss game. D overall was non existent in that game though. He was one year out of high school blowing up Grown men last year. Very telling. If he keeps working the leap he'll take this year and next will make us think of the Dorsey days again.

I've got visions of our DL busting through the line at the snap of the ball and throwing down RBs for 6 yard losses

Love that term, rag doll! Yeah the dude's a stud. Looks to be a great compliment to Mason coming in. Keep pumping those linemen in!!! Got a good feeling about this staff not knowing much about them. I just think that there will be better chemistry among the staff. Hopefully Corey is good with this staff.
Hopefully we won't go from "the D is way ahead this year from last year at this time to wow we need to simplify things in the secondary after a 3 game dumpster fire".

You’re going to see him take a big time step this year with another year to grow and a full spring in the weight room. I’m glad Neil Farrell came back but he will be the first off the bench rotating with Roy because Roy is going to be the starter day 1 and he will have an All SEC team type season, maybe All-American. Glen Logan will be the starter for most of the season at the other DT spot but he’s going to have Maason Smith breathing down his neck very soon. By the end of the year don’t be surprised we see a starting DL of:

RDE: BJ Ojulari
3-Tech: Jaquelin Roy
DT: Maason Smith
LDE: Ali Gaye

That’s a ferocious looking DL and the best we have had in a decade. If there’s a better or deeper DL in college football i’d like to see it. An elite DL can carry a team a long way and it looks like we have one.

That really is a D line to be excited about. I can’t wait to see M Smith. I think he’s going to be a difference maker from day 1.

Interior d-line should be the best we’ve had in the last 5-10 years a while over the next two seasons at least. The freshman from last year, Smith, and the vets returning - we’ve got veteran experienced depth and elite young players. Caught me off guard how we’ve quickly become stacked there.

This is as talented and deep a DL we've had in a long time. 2019 had a lot of Jr/Sr's and we're great but man the talent of the Sophomores and Freshmen along with veterans Logan and Farrell could be elite.

Logan and Farrell have been solid, steady players for us for a long time but they better come to camp in a lot better shape than they did last year because these young guys aren’t just good they can be great and it’s just a matter of time and experience. You already see it in Roy and Ojulari and you’re going to see it in Smith soon. Farrell needs to get back to around 295 where he plays best. He was easily 315-320 last year. Logan needs to get back to 315-320 because he was playing at 340 last year and it made effected his stamina a good bit.
