Let's talk about this crew...How has Woodward not reigned them in yet? They continue to cripple LSU football year after year.

We're all shocked by the Ricks transfer rumors but it's fairly obvious they are behind it. Probably facing a 3-6 game suspension at LSU whereas he can go to Ohio State and play immediately.

If Alabama isn’t punishing players for weed or at least not so harshly, then we need to stop it. I never see anything like it for weed ANYWHERE else

So you want the inmates running the asylum? Then we might as well invite the NCAA to open a branch office on campus.

There will be someone that will come into this thread talking about how our enforcement policies are lax compared to the rest of the SEC because of how many positive tests it takes to get suspended, etc.

But they will fail to take into account that the issue we have is that we test more than anyone else.

The fact that anyone still gives a shite about a player smoking a little bud is beyond me

Don't want the inmates to run the place but why not copy Alabama's compliance manual -- just do exactly what the Tide is doing and I'd be fine; so, what Will Wade, Ed O and all the other coaches on the LSU campus. Bo B and his elitists asswipes are trying to push their squeaky clean ideology on LSU. Who can argue against having a more stringent drug policy? Are you for supporting athletes being more on drugs than necessary? Its one of those BS type arguments. We are only trying to help our student athletes more than our peer SEC schools. This is the best logic/version that I've heard over the last 2-3 years as to why LSU has more stringent rules than Bama, Georgia and A&M. The SEC says you have to have a drug policy. It doesn't specify the underlying rules of the policy

No other team historically drops the hammer on players for weed like LSU. We kicked a Heisman finalist off of the team for fricks sakes and every year, some starter gets suspended for it while every other team in the country doesn’t seem to have the same issue with it. It’s crazy.

Is it though? Or is it that this is what the majority of the idiots here turn to every time something goes wrong?

- Rick's is from very far away from home.

- Rick's first year at LSU was filled with Covid nonsense. No fans, no real college experience.

- LSU played well below expectations.

- LSU has failed to hire a DC still, despite going strongly after two candidates.

You are right though, it's very obvious that this is weed. It's clear as day, and I have no clue how I didn't see it.

From what I understand, it’s out of the control of the athletic department... But that’s no excuse. This shite has to end

He may be far from where he is from, but his family moved to Baton Rouge so home is in BR.

Supposedly it’s the President’s decision. It’s very hard to imagine though that people like Woodward and the other big wigs can’t recognize how much it hurts the program. I don’t want to be allowing illegal stuff to be happening at LSU but we should have the same standards as the rest of the SEC.

Yep, I knew that but I hadn’t heard that the NCAA was going to apply the same practice for 2021. It seems like we are now in the new season since the 2020 season ended, schools are recruiting the 2021 class and from what I’m reading, the experts expect COVID to be under control by this fall.
