There’s a reason why the 4 best QBs in the NFL this year (per DVOA) are still alive in the playoffs.

In her latest Instagram post, Drew Brees' wife Brittany said that Drew played with all these injuries this season:
- Torn rotator cuff
- Torn fascia in foot
- Plus, 11 broken ribs and a collapsed lung (which we already knew about)

If this is all true then, as much as a competitor as he is, his pride killed any chance of him ever getting another ring. He and Payton should have run packages with Winston when Taysom couldn't go.
Both had to know we couldn't go far only throwing 10 yd passes. I guess they figured we beat them twice already but he couldn't throw for shite this game.

It didn't look like it yesterday, but I was convinced Brady was done after watching him last season. I guess the lack of receivers really does make a QB exponentially worse. Belichick is convinced you don't need receivers to win. And he's wrong.
100% agree with this. Brady was either hurt last season or having zero weapons really had him that fritzed out. Like 65% of his throws down the stretch were throwaways or checkdowns last season while Brees looked like a top 5 QB still
