I usually like these period series but not really getting it after a few episodes. Does it get better? Opinions?

I tried a couple of episodes and wasn't a big fan. And I generally enjoy those kind of period pieces.

It’s just okay. I gave up on it somewhere in season 2. It’s not bad, but it’s not great either.

I thought this was going to be so good whenever it was first announced. Boy, was I wrong. The dialogue and the acting in this show is laughably bad. The only thing they have going for them is the setting of the show.
