Kristen Wiig hosted and she killed it. I find her supremely talented. Few highlights:

-the Home Alone 2 sketch was funny. Melissa Villasenor kinda nailed Kevin McAllister. I laughed pretty hard when Wiig said, “no, WE killed them”

-the military music scene was good, Bowen Yang is funny.

-the sketch about the mom not getting any Christmas gifts was both hilarious and spot on

-Wiig’a anxious aunt Susan is always funny

-Michael Che’s jokes for Jost on weekend update were hysterical

The cold open political shite sucked, once again, but after that it was a really strong episode.

Colins' joke about Dr. jill biden being a nurse to joe... may as well have been a Holocaust joke... the crowd did not like that one bit

If the show wasn’t so left thinking I’d actually watch it again, but I don’t see Lorne changing any time soon.

I watch it if a host or musical guest is interesting.

There are a couple really funny cast members too. Thanks for your input though.

I don’t believe this for a second. I have not laughed once at any of his characters or portrayals.

He plays every character with the same sassy/gay attitude. It’s pretty tiring.

Did they do a hateful family holiday dinner? Wiig used to crack me up in this sketch:

The one about Sammy Davis Jr. was my favorite.

I love how Andrew Cuomo and Bill De Blasio think this is an essential business and allow this congregation but shut down every restaurant and church in the city.

I saw some of that, and thought they were showing an old one, because of the race jokes.

On getting Blacks who are hesitant to get the vacine:

"Tell blacks they are immune to paying child support."

Black guy says a new Hocus Pocus sequel poster makes him think it's "A movie for Every white woman he's ever slept with."

For the 65th anniversary of Roaa Parks' protest "I just wish that all Black people could follow her advice of sitting down and shutting up."

On Jeffery Epstein's mansion being demolished one of them says "I'm shocked they'd demolish a place where I have so many fond memories."

and the Sammy Davis joke.

It's all in this twitter video

The white guy doesn't look comfortable doing them. He looks like someone haeld a gun to his head and made him do them.

The Rosa Parks one may have been taken from the OT board.

All of those jokes sucked. Race-swapping shitty race jokes doesn't make them funny. It's lazy comedy for their lowest common denominator audience.

This is the explicit point of the segment...

No, no. One of her lesser characters and it hasn't been funny in years.

I feel like people have been saying this for like fifteen years yet it’s still constantly being talked about.

I mostly watched because I have a raging boner for Dua Lipa. Goddamn she's fine.

I liked that Keenan Thompson brought back the Willie character on the news segment.
