I'm doubtful that this team was focused enough over the past 3 weeks to make any meaningful improvements.

You are out of your mind. We dont have a top 20 interior d lineman on the team, LBs? Baskerville, really? our safeties are a liability, our OL is inexperienced and so far not showing a whole lot. Our RBs are just meh, our QBs are completely unproven.

Yes, offensively, we have a good to great receiving corp, but give me a break, we dont have any talent on defense aside from corner play.

Yes, we're gonna kick Arkansas in the teeth, then they're gonna turn around and we're gonna shove that ugly arse boot right up their arse.

LSU big.

you don’t think Bo and O haven’t been trying since week 1? And it’s gotten no better.

What makes you think the last 3 weeks will make a difference?

Go look at Bos track record for ability to adjust over his career.

If we are basing the answer of that particular scenario then I'd say no.

Guillory has been hurt and Toles has played and got torched, but no less than Stevens and Harris. I agree though. I'd rather have the new guys out there putting out the effort than what we've seen so far.

That was the first game Toles got snaps in and literally was like his 3rd play collegiatently.

I don't care he made a mistake. He should be getting reps because Hampton and Harris have been terrible.

I'm happy O is about to sign 5 safeties. Talk about sending a message.

IMO, probably not.

Bo's approach (that Ed wants presumably) requires 4 very good-to-dominant DL. We don't have that shot in our bag.

Nope. Half of the tome they did not practice due to Covid. Personnel does not match up with scheme.

I fear it will be worse. And I'm not being hyperbolic.

Communication and scheme are/were major issues; being off without more game experience could just be a dangerous combination of rusty + lack of progress.

really disappointed in Hampton. I'm going to venture 1/2 on him, but the other 1/2 is poor coaching. We've been seeing many in the back 7 make rookie mistakes, repeatedly. There is a coaching issue... even if not 100% of the problem. It is there.

Do you realize we recruited the punter as a QB,& a big time one at that ? He was on campus , and practicing when he signed his baseball contract.

Two full seasons wasn't enough for Tepper.

Based on Pelini's and Tepper's similarities, I would say no.

LSU this year is really bad team! Can't believe we would be this bad after last year!
