How does the secret service check all these rally attendees?

Do they have an army? 5 different places in a day and having to check tens of thousands?
Very curious how they do it.

I always wonder that when he would just do one rally, much less as many as he has been doing this week. The secret service is top notch, that's for sure.

I was watching Trump walk down the stairs off of AF1 in NC today and was wondering the same thing. How do they keep him safe?

I went to one with 41 when he flew into Baton Rouge. You had to go through metal detectors to get in the area.

They don’t really check everyone. In the mid-late 90’s Clinton spoke at my undergrad school. I went through no security and got close enough to shake his hand. I even had a small Swiss Army keychain knife in my pocket. This was back when people could respect the office no matter who held it.

I just watched a video on Facebook the other day on SS training and that sort of stuff. Said there is 7,000 SS members.

you guys must not donate much. If you donate just $1000 to a campaign, you're invited to almost every event in your area. It's a pretty good way of weeding people out.

I remember going to Clinton rally at Monroe airport in 2008 I believe. Basically went through metal detectors and that was it. There where probably a thousand pocket knives in a container by the door. Also there were SS everywhere mixed throughout the crowd watching people like hawks. I remember them looking at me making me wonder what I had done. It was kind of an eerie feeling.

Metal detectors at the rally. The one in Rome is surrounded by woods and while you’d have to be a crack shot it wouldn’t be impossible. I was told by a buddy who works at the airport that “they’d know if anyone was out there” as he pointed up.

IR drones, Couple of Dogs walking the perimeter. LoL at any fool that wants to tangle with a patrol dog.
Metal Detectors to get into the controlled area.
The only time I was able to shake the hand of the POTUS in a public venue, there were SS watching me and everyone else like hawks. I guess you could blow yourself up in front of the POTUS, but you would get tackled/shot if you made any sudden move to draw a weapon. I'm sure there are sharp shooters on overwatch with crosshairs on everyone approaching the POTUS.
