Probably the timber lodge outside Pittsburgh. Tuesday was free pool and nobody ever went there during the week. Many times we would just play pool and smoke joints with the owner who was 70+ year old guy that was a decorated Sargent

The Patio Lounge
The drinks are fairly priced and it’s a good place to chill and watch some sports.

Rainbow on Sunset. Got to hang with Lemmy from Motörhead and took two days to recover

Around BR and the surrounding area? Probably Big Mike's to be honest. Lots of regulars and not alot of drama.

Arkey Blue’s Silver Dollar in Bandera, TX. Basement bar, live music, cheap beer, stacks of Playboys out on the tables, pool tables and DGAF attitude.

You said "favorite bar" and then mentioned 2 dance floors.
Soooooo, let's never hang out.

The Red Barn
Because as the Cody Jinks song goes, "I like 2 dollar beers, I like 3 dollar wells" and "raising hell with the hippies and the cowboys"

The Columns bar in NOLA. Cool old building, cool space, unique NOLA vibe. I love it.

Yeah, I liked that place too. Went there a lot in the 80’s and early 90’s and recently before it burnt. Really cool beach vibe and decent food.
I also liked a place called Judge Roy Beans in Daphne alabama. It also burnt.
Starting to see a trend

Continental US: Esquire Tavern in San Antonio or the Castle Bar downstairs at the Dunleith in Natchez.
Overall: Soggy Dollar in BVI.

Favorite bars, in no particular order:
Flora-Bama, Gulf Shores, AL: Just consistently the best place to wind down with your boys in a carefree environment. Everyone there has an excellent time
Irby's Tavern, Atlanta, GA: Finally a sports bar in Buckhead that has a "hometown" feel to it. Now I can watch the Falcons, Braves, and Hawks disappoint me in the backdrop of a venue that's worthy of the occasion.
Atkins Park, Atlanta, GA: Great dive bar in Va Highlands. Always a great spot with surprisingly good bar food. Come at lunch, come at 1am. Always fun.
MJQ Concourse, Atlanta, GA: For when the night wants to go past 2AM
Erin Rose, New Orleans, LA: I can do without the Saints Shrine decor, but, the bar is a classic dive and that coffee liquor drink is amazing.
Ysabel, Los Angeles, CA: Hottest girls on the planet. Don't look elsewhere.
Big Foot West, Los Angeles, CA: Fun, casual bar with amazing bartenders who are your friends after one visit. Again, hot girls, but not the insta-model type typical of the LA area.
Mr. Purple (when I was younger), New York, NY: Hottest girls on the east coast. Bunch of other Finance bros, so, a good place to network early on while blacking out and take cuts at some otherworldly good looking women.
Edit for the "why"?

The Happy Cow in Hunter,TX.
Maybe the last best Honky Tonk along the I-35 corridor.
Barmaids are always smoking hot.
Riley’s Tavern, just a couple blocks away, boasts a really cool 110 year old building too, but I prefer the Cow.
Another really different/interesting experience can be found at The Jersey Lilly, way out in Ingomar, Montana (population, 14). You’ll find outhouses, sheepherders' hors d'oeuvres, probably horses tie up outside, or Sesnas parked outside.
