My wife of 28 years recently passed away after an 11 year courageous battle against f ing breast cancer. This website has always provided me a place to go and take my mind off her struggle. I thank all of y’all for that. Forever in my life by prince was her favorite song as well as mine. This video from sign o the times was her favorite way to listen to this song. Give it a listen! LINK

I'm so sorry for your loss. It sounds like you and your wife had courage that I hope I never have to find.

I am so sorry for your loss, sharing this song she loved is a great way to remember her. I hope in the tough times ahead you continue to recall the things you shared that made her happy and don't be afraid to tell us more.

Thanks Owl. It has actually helped to talk about it. We have four kids. Three girls, 26, 24, 21 and a huge surprise boy who is now 17. Oldest girl just got engaged. She loved music so much. Prince, Bonnie Raite and Johnny Cash were her favorites.

She had excellent musical taste you are a lucky man. Music has a special way of maintaining our memories and we can find ourselves sharing it with strangers and we share that memory all over again.

So sorry about the loss of your wife. I've noticed over the last few years by your posts and responses that you are one of the few posters on here that recognize how great Prince was. I'm glad you and her were able to share that with each other. May we all "live to see the dawn".

So sorry man. I know what you're going through. I am 1.5 year out from the loss of my wife to Glioblastoma.

My heart hurts for you. I am listening now for my first time ever (have never heard this particular song before), and this is a great tune. I wish the best for you and your family
