How much longer until team sports returns to ‘normal’?

I know we have the bubble NBA league slated to start. My morale keeps swaying back and forth. As CFB nears, I fear the season is getting the axe...at least to some extent. Games will get cancelled. Crowds will be small. Players will miss games left and right with COViD.

Baseball is having similar issues with so many players testing positive and sitting out.

There’s no reason for me to believe college basketball will be starting safely.

Am I the only one that thinks this shite can last a couple of years?

As soon as the first games begin, shite starts to become normal.

Sure, you have the loser progressives who will continue causing shite, but people will have moved on.

All those bored college kids who were protesting, will move on.

They are bored and disgruntled.

Too much money will be lost for it to be a multiple year thing. Not just in sports either. Eventually things will be forced to return to normal.

never, sports will now forever be a political event followed by a game of over indulged SJW paid to entertain you

I don’t disagree with you. The over-politicized nature of pro sports isn’t fun. Going to a game as a form of entertainment IS fun. For the most part, when you’re at the game, you don’t have to deal with the bullshite.

As far as the college kids go...they’re inexperienced in the game of life and immature. That’s how college kids have been from day 1. The universities can eat it for caving to the students. But I can’t judge the players too much given what I did in those days.
