2019 and 2014...underrated movie years

Sorry if I missed any others. Please feel free to add any. I know we complain about about movies not holding up....but these IMO were solid as frick years

Everything else on this list is awesome though I agree. Tough to say who wins. So ill just go with 2007 as the best and put these two years at 2A & 2B.

Both are animated movies aimed more so at kids but great overall messages

2019 was very end of the year heavy. I made a top 10 list on the year and I think 8 out of the 10 had come out in the last 3 months. They had several good not great movies. 1917 was definitely a cut above the rest IMO

Jojo Rabbit and Knives Out alone are better than 90% of everything from 2014.

You could say the same for 2014. Whiplash and Ex Machina are better than 90% of everything from 2019. Interstellar and Gone Girl are the other two standouts from 2014 imo.

That's weird. If you google it...it says a 2014 film but if you scroll down it says re leased in April 2015

yeah it probably had some goofy festival release or something in 2014 which is why they say that, but it got a wide release in 2015. i remember seeing it and Mad Max within a couple weeks of each other, I was in cinematic heaven
