Halfway through season 1 and I am absolutely hooked. Paul Giamatti is fantastic as usual. His wife is crazy hot as well. Just finished the Americans and I am so pumped to be watching this now. I hope it doesn't fall off!

The opening scene of the first episode is interesting way to start the series. I have to be careful who I recommend the show to

First few seasons are great. The current season has fallen off a cliff

The show is a guilty pleasure of mine. I find it entertaining while realizing it is a terribly written nightmare of contrived plot devices that cannot stand up to three seconds of logical scrutiny.
Legal proceedings that would take months to investigate and file and then years to adjudicate somehow manage to get resolved in two days.
It's bad but I still watch.

I particularly enjoyed the time Axe bought a multinational multi-billion dollar corporation one day and sold it the very next day.
It's as if the writers have no idea what they putting on paper except that it makes for an interesting, if not absurd, storyline.

I enjoyed the first 3 seasons. Cant exactly say why but I stopped watching about half way through the last season and have no desire to keep watching.

I see this can be found on Direct TV. Where at? On demand.

Like others have said The first season or two was a guilty pleasure and now it is just bad.
My wife bailed on it last season and now I find myself pressing the skip forward button a lot this season.
The writing is so bad and it’s one of those shows you really have to just suspend reality
Just an example of how ridiculous it is this season. Everyone is working a typical day and just out of nowhere Wendy, the counselor, comes in with a professional wrestler and they just start hardcore fighting hard core in the middle of the sales floor. They fight for like five minutes and just gets up and gives a ra-ra speech and everyone clapped and just goes back to their day. LOL

Seasons 1-3 were great. Now it just feels like the same stuff over and over. And a few times this season I felt almost embarrassed to be watching because it was so lame.

The show is entertaining, but the dialogue just irritates me to death.
It’s all clever quips back and forth, someone citing some random theory of philosophy or economy, everyone always one upping or outsmarting someone else. Never any normal conversation.
Basically just the writers showing off how worldly they are.

Something else you’ll notice is no one ever says bye. They just make their brilliant one liner and then either hang up or walk out of the room. It’s so awkward and unrealistic.
I think it was a few episodes back someone showed up at Chuck’s house, said a few snappy one-liners and then literally just walked out the door. LOL who does that?

i was watching an older episode on demand last night, and i made that exact observation after a phone call between Bobby and Wendy.
he rattled off some thought and just hung up the phone. i thought it was odd that he didnt say goodbye.

I love Damian Lewis but there are time when his American accent turns into a lisp and it drives me nuts.
Great show though.

He should never have been cast as Axe, don't find him believable at all. The guy that plays Giamatti's father might have the best role of the series. Current season has been pretty mediocre.

Losing interest in the show once Wendy sleeps with the Elon musk kinda guy. Really? Filthy witch. She has been enabling Axe's crew to be better cheaters and still holds her hubby to account for taking confidential info from her laptop (ya he messed up but he ain't cheating in you witch)

She didn’t cheat on him they were separated and had agree to see other people. He went on a date with the woman from his martial arts class.
I really enjoyed the show at first even though it’s over the top. But, at least initially, they did a good job of going through actual economic and business concepts in the financial sector.
Regarding timelines, who cares? Would you want to watch them due diligence a company for 9 months prior to acquiring it? That would be boring as shite to the casual fan.

I like the new season.
For me the first season was barely watchable but it's gotten away from some of the more cringey dialog that almost overwhelmed it in the beginning.
I probably keep coming back mostly for Giamiatti and Dollar Bill.

Wags has always been my favorite. But they cut his nuts this season so far. I’m disappointed the way this season starting. Having trouble getting into it.
I don’t like the new enemy for Axe. Just seemed forced. They could have come with a better back story.

This show is we worth it just for Condola Rashad's tight arse in those suits she wears.

roughly halfway thru season 1.
Axe is the billionaire but, Rhoades has the hotter wife.
Rhoades Axe
Axe gets VIP treatment from Metallica, Rhoades hangs out at shady sub/dom clubs
Axe's right hand mand "Wags" > Rhoades' right hand man
Axe Rhoades
I wanna be Axe. No one wants to be Rhoades
