I know that people love Link's Awakening but knowing the ending makes me not want to play it since...

it was certainly fun. Actually thought it was too easy but that's alright. Considering it was a Gameboy release

I highly recommend Oceanhorn in the Nintendo switch estore.

Very cheap $16 and very much like Zelda.

saw a rumor last night that BOTW 2 will let you play as Zelda and Link in some shrines/temples/dungeons (whatever you want to call them). Apparently Zelda will allow you to use some magic in solving the puzzles, and she can also manipulate things like weather and animal interactions (another rumor that you can ride different animals like bears and such)

EDIT: Immediately after posting this I came across a video showing link from BOTW riding a bear, so I guess this isn't a new feature at all.

I don't remember riding a bear. I remember the first time I came upon one to the right of a wide river, he killed me.

Any new release date rumors. I am hearing 2021.

I am looking for games like Zelda. Can anyone think of big titles that are like Zelda? Some you can buy towns and weird stuff which I don't care for. I like puzzles, hunting and wandering like BOTW. I want a game like Oceanhorn <----beat it--- but Oceanhorn2 is only on Apple TV

Here is a video of Zelda similar LINK

I like just seeing a Zelda thread on the front page. I'm about to beat LttP on Switch, and it'll be the last Zelda available to me until either BOTW 2 or some other remaster comes out. So, this thread at least keeps my hopes up for something.

I always say the next year with a Zelda game when I hear the release date from Nintendo, reusable stuff or not. I don't think a main line Zelda has ever NOT been delayed.

This was always a rumor anyway, but this is Fall 2021 at best, and if the recent statement about wanting the Switch to last until 2024 is true....I'd say they push it to 2022 just to keep momentum in some sense.

You wasn't aware of Forgotten Temple?

I'm sorry. Thought everyone was have found it by now.

It was one of the last things I stumbled into, about 200hrs in.. there isn't a shrine there idt, but you do get some brand new clothes.

forgot all about that forgotten temple during my current 2nd playthrough. Haven't seen it yet.

I remember in my first playthrough getting my shite pushed in when I first went in there. The guardians went in dry on me.

that little cabin (is it a lighthouse?) by the sea has the shock rod to kill them. I think I threw bombs at them before hand.

Been awhile since I played.

It is in such a weird, non travelled spot.

off topic, but speaking of second playthrough...

apparently I have completely disregarded Korok seeds this time around. Even with the benefit of expanding weapon/bow/shield carrying abilities, I realized last night that I have finished the same number of shrines as I have uncovered seeds (I think 65-70 of each). I also already completed all 4 beasts, so it's time to explore and beef up my arsenal before heading to the castle.
