Both very good I would say Delpit is better in run support and McKinney better in coverage

Has McKinney stopped rolling ever since Clyde put him in the spin cycle 3 months ago? I heard a rumor that he was sighted in Nevada, rolling with the tumbleweeds.

He recovered in time to get decapitated by that midget RB from Auburn.

It seems the opposite to me. I know tackling was an issue for GD. According to PFF, prior to the playoffs, Delpit had 17 missed tackles out of 71 attempts but also allowed just 9 receptions in coverage. McKinney was graded about even against the run, pass, and pass rush but not as highly graded in coverage.

I think Delpit's biggest issue was either effort or technique. Most of his missed talked came from sloppy play or trying to make a highlight hit.

Against Texas there were 2 drives he could have ended on 3rd down, but went for the big hit instead. Texas converted the 1st, and ended up scoring later in the drive

Clyde made a mixtape out of him and Diggs. Revenge for that time Jarrett Lee made Rashad Johnson an All-American in '08.

I think Delpit goes to the Cowboys and McKinney goes to the 49ers ...so we’ll be having this debate for a while

If Delpit wasn't allergic to wrapping up ball carriers he'd be far and away the best.

Was he injured the entire season? Delpit took a huge step back from 2018 as early as the Texas game. He was a beast the entire year in coverage, but when it came to talking the ball carrier, he would take bad angles, dive at the lower leg, or go for the big hits. This wasn't because of injuries, he was making business decisions.

He was injured early with an ankle and didn’t really get right until after the Ole Miss game. Go watch him against aTm, UGA, Oklahoma, and Clemson. He was all fricking world in those games once he finally got some time off

Well that's the game he got injured.

I think some of Delpit's issues were injury related, and others were not.
