My bad.

Bama, OSU, Bama, Washington.

Bama plays Bama in the semis and gets an auto to the NCG.

SEC championship is Florida and LSU, but a one loss Bama gets two bids because, well, Bama.

The thread about sleeper picks reminded me of this thread. Note OP is from 2 years ago.

Ohio State vs. Alabama in the National Championship game.

Alabama wins the national championship.

ETA: Just realized this was a bump. Why not just start a new thread?

What. The. frick?!

In the Category of "shite that Won't Happen"...

#1 Clemson vs #4 Oklahoma
#2 Alabama vs #3 Ohio State

Those 4 schools have accounted for 17 of the 24 playoff spots so far. And with the exception of perhaps Oklahoma, there's no reason to suspect that the Top 3 won't be back next year. I could maybe see a PAC-12 or another SEC school get in, but with Fromm and Herbert heading to the NFL, I don't know who it will be. I don't think Utah can do it, and Florida will frick it up somehow.

Holy hell, I just realized how old this is...lol! Makes a lot more sense now. Doesn't seem so illogical from 2018.
