Scope moving after shooting

I’ve had my Savage rifle for about 4 years, but never really used it until this year. I took it to the shooting range to ensure the scope was still sighted in. It was and when I took it out last weekend for youth weekend, I noticed my scope was moving side to side and front to back. I removed the screws and added blue picture on it again and made sure it was a snug fit. I waited 24 hours and took it out today to shoot and sight in. It was shooting great, but once we were done I noticed the scope was moving again. Any thoughts on what might be causing this or how to fix it?

Get you a set of DNZ mounts for it. The screws are prolly stripped. I've had that happen before to those type of mounts.

Those scope mounts look really cheap. Would not be surprised at all if the mounts are just not very good. It looks like the mount is actually hitting the receiver in the first picture.
A set of DNZ mounts would not have that issue.

The mounts are what came with the rifle, so it wouldn’t surprise me if it wasn’t the highest quality.

As others have said, it is the shitty mounts. Spend some money on decent mounts and the issue will vanish.

Same thing was happening to my son's Savage Axis with same mounts. Replaced with DNZ Hunt Masters and no problems now.

I had those same mounts without any problems.

Maybe size of scope and rings don't match?

Thanks everyone. I just ordered a DNZ scope mount

Possiblities:
-The screws for the rings are not properly tightened.
-Screws for the rings are too short.
-Scope rings need to be lapped because of imperfections in the inner surface of the rings. Looks Weaver rings which are bad for having an uneven inner surface.
While waiting for the DNZ rings, you can put a piece of masking tape between the bottom surface of the scope and the upper surface of the rings. Sometimes that improve things. Burris scope rings used to come w/ a small piece of adhesive tape years ago.
There are a number of folks here who like DNZ. Personally, I've not had good results w/ that type of ring. Depending on the scope and the distance between the ocular, power ring and turrets, it can be difficult having enough room on the scope to attach the rings.
Now days, all my scopes are mounted w/ a one piece Weaver base and 2 or 3 Burris Signature Z rings (the ones w/ the plastic inserts). I shoot some heavy recoiling handguns (including 308 Win, 284 Win, 7-08 Rem et al) and my scopes don't move anymore. I'd also suggest using a torque wrench I like this one. The scope on my 308 Win handgun moved when I first mounted it using 3 Weaver rings. I changed to a better set of rings and the scope stopped moving.
