Is it possible/feasible to turn your house into a panic house?

What I'm asking - instead of making a panic room - is how difficult/expensive would it be to create a panic house? I was thinking about something like this - in the event of a threat, press a "panic" button that does something like dropping steel shutters (or whatever) over doors/windows creating an impenetrable barrier. Good idea or bad?

Then you just lock the zombies inside the house with you.

anything is possible with enough money. But just think you are pretty much paying now to do it on a level that is probably 10xs the size exterior with far more openings(which is the more expensive aspect)

If you have enough money to do this maybe consider moving to somewhere you don’t have to do this.

I think you need to layoff the Halloween movies for a bit.

Maybe he just needs to prevent the State from entering his abode? The State is way worse than zombies.

It would be highly expensive to reinforce a home against M1A1 assault along with artillery assault and aerial bombing. Possible but prohibitively expensive, Mr. Bond. Now relax and enjoy a martini.

Terrible idea. If aliens come to attack, it’s probably known that it’s my time to go. No sense of boarding myself inside my home

I would argue that stealth as in not advertising that you are there is as important as armor.

Once they know you are there, unless help is notified eventually they can find a way in or to force you out.

If all you're talking about is steel shutters on windows and doors then it's useless.

Depending who's after you and how motivated/prepared they are, a chain saw will cut right through a wood sided house
