Trying to do a dinner for my wife and I, looking for something nice and good atmosphere. We are staying at hotel down there for the weekend in a few weeks.

Nice list. I’d throw in Trenasse as well.

Had never been so I had no idea.

Wanted to throw in Public Service, but environment is almost sterile and the food is just ok.

As you can see, there are a ton of choices.

Would you be looking at any specific type of food and do you have a budget in mind?

Either way, go ahead and plan on making reservations soon. This time of the year, restaurants can start booking up pretty early with all of the events going on in the city.

Have fun and report back to us on how it goes.

I’d throw in Revolution as well. I really like their atmosphere and food.

Closed, so I wouldn't put that one on the list. Justin closed this when he opened Justine (in the French Quarter)

Ah, makes sense. Was never in there with more than about 4 other people.

Coming in for the Bayou Classic?

If it were my birthday, I'd hit up happy hour oysters at Seaworthy, then Peche.
