Lot 412 Question

I have two passes for Auburn game and will have one group coming Thursday to set up and the other on Friday for the Auburn game. It is first time setting up in this lot, is it pretty easy to reserve a spot next to you with tents, chairs, etc?? Any advice would be appreciated. We are just trying to make sure we can have both set-ups next to each other.

It’s very easy to reserve a spot unless you are wanting to be right by the softball field. Last year there were plenty of spots for UGA and Bama game by river road Friday night into Saturday morning

I’m not sure if it’s the case with all lots, but I don’t think you’ll be allowed to set up anything until Friday afternoon/evening. If you set up earlier than that LSU will throw it out

I have a spot reserved in 412 for the Florida game so rather than fire off a new thread, I'll piggy back on this one...
How wide are the spots? Will I have room to setup a tent or do people pretty much have to rely on the built in awning on the RV?
I'm coming in from Houston but my in-laws live in BR so I plan to get things setup around mid-day Friday but probably just stay at their house so I don't have to run the generator all night. Any concerns about leaving it there unattended?
As for generator placement, do people usually just set them up behind the RV or is there some other protocol? My 5th wheel is tall enough that I can even put it under the RV but that would make refueling a PITA.

We tailgate in 412 every home game, and have been in the Vet Lot for about 10 years now. The lot hasn’t filled up and been at capacity in a few years. However it is a lot tighter for bigger SEC games obviously. Florida will likely be the most attended in years. Spaces are pretty good size and generally can fit a tent in your area.
A couple things to note:
- it is first come first serve but most of the “regulars” get the same spot each week for their groups, and for the most part people respect the groups that have been in the lot for years.
- One of the things that gets pretty much every first timer is you have to vent your generator. Essentially you need run your generator exhaust above the top of your RV
- you can drive up to each spot in a car and drop off items up to 7 hours before kickoff
Feel free to ask any other questions you might have and I will be happy to answer

And you’re just another rude mf who thinks “saving” a parking spot is allowable behavior.

If they get there early on Friday you really shouldn’t have a problem. Just go to the middle, and will be wide open. The outside are the areas that fill up quickly, and generally have the same people in them each week.

Website says the lots open up at 6, do they hold firm to that or do they open up early? How early so I need to be there to get my pick of spots?

Opens at 6 and it’s firm. everyone lines up in adjacent parking lot, lot 411. If you are there Thursday at opening getting a good spot isn’t an issue. Most show up on Friday

I usually leave mine out there Thursday night. The spots are usually wide enough to fit everything but it could depend on you slide arrangement.
Don't bring a loud arse construction generator. Assholes do this...

Thanks. I'll probably just leave the bedroom slides in to hopefully give me enough room for a tent...
And my generators are inverter so they are quiet...
