I mean...they really fricked up in recruiting this kid, and obviously put talent and wins above any moral code.
With that said...if Dantonio really did have these weekly sessions with the kid and then kicked him off the team once he was charged with a crime, I don’t see how you fire him for cause. That would be under the assumption that he didn’t cover anything up.
At the very least, Dantonio is guilty of being a dumbass and not listening to his coaches. He should be raked over the coals for it. I don’t want him fired, though. I want him to continue to coach MSU into an offensive stoneage while having a scarlet letter attached to him.
