We score TD bringing it back to Saints 16 Texans 21. Why on earth do you kick the XP instead of going for 2?
That came real close to costing us this game.

The 10 second run off almost cost us the game.

Because you don't know what the future holds.

Say the saints go for 2 and don't get it and then later Houston gets a fg. We are now down 8 and THATS A MUCH BIGGER F'UP

That's a dumb rule that has to be changed. No team should be penalized for a booth review. That should be treated like any other inbounds play. The clock starts rolling as soon as the review is completed and the ball is marked.

Too much time left. You only go for 2 when there is little enough time to limit possessions a reasonably predictable way.

I thought you meant by calling that stupid deep pitch to Kamara screwing our chance of converting when a first down wins the game.

But, instead, this is a dumb thread.

playing to only be down a field goal (21-18) is more like playing to tie, IMO. The Saints know what they're capable of on offense and knew that wouldnt be their last score.

I have more issue with him not throwing on third down to get a first and WIN the game outright.

We instead kicked the FG and shenanigans happened.

After the penalty on the XP, I thought he would go for 2 from the 1.

Completely agree. We signed this giant, athletic TE in free agency and then don't use him. Or how about the one of the highest paid receivers in the game? Play to win...playing not lose is a great way to lose.

If Lutz misses the 58 yarder we lose by 1
Something tells me you'd be bitching about it then
