Will Emery have a good amount of carries this year?

I think he will have a good amount, not as much as LF7 had in his first year I believe. But he will be a big impact once he gets college football and sec experience.

I think him, Davis, and Clyde are going to be our top 3 backs.

I think he'll be out #1 back pretty quickly. CEH will start off in that roll but once Emery shows that he's the better back, he'll take the lead spot.

Didn’t LF7 play behind Magee and Hilliard? I don’t think there are two RBs that get more carries than Emery this year.

It seems like this will be an issue in a few spots. Not a bad problem to have but RB (Emery,Davis-Price, CEH, Curry, and still Lanard)
LB (Divinity, Queen, Phillips, and Damone turning heads now along with Stevens who finished strong last year).
Then you have Delpit and Todd Harris, Monroe is having a good camp too and it seems like Brooks is working hard for playing time too.

Gonna be fun to see how we use the options we have to stay fresh.

I mean we have seen him truck a kid so far. Lets see what he does when the real bullets start flying.

Depends how quickly he picks up pass protection. If LSU is going to be throwing the ball out of 4 WR sets then the backs needs to know how to block.

I think one of the power backs (Curry or Davis-Price) have a chance to make a quick impact. CEH and Brosette struggled getting tough yards last year.

He showed a lot in his few carries last year. He showed the OL was excellent at the "look out" blocking technique.

This. Think Shyrone and JV in 2003.

He needs to show he can be elusive in those situations. He hasn't shown that.

Perhaps like Justin Vincent as a freshman. Hopefully he gets up to speed on picking up the blitz very early

With only one cupcake before Tejas, LSU should get him in the mix right off the bat if nothing else to get him acclimated to college football.

Maybe 8-10 carries, same with the other new RB. CEH will get his carries during the season as we know he's capable.
