It's gonna be a blast watching this dude grow as a player. In 2-3 years, whenever he's ready to takeover as the starter, we are gonna have the most athletic frontcourt in the NBA.
Elite defense, elite rebounding, elite in transition, elite finishing. Gonna be alley-oop city. Will put "Lob-city" to shame with Lonzo dishing dimes to those two. If those two add a shot to their game (the potential is there for both) then this duo could be one for the ages.

The one weakness I see is just that. Personally I think he just needs to add some “lead in his arse”. He just seems very light in his lower half. Guys like Favors will just move him out of the way without much effort when positioning for RBs.

Hayes just has an elite level of finishing that will make him so useful. Just like AD, throw it anywhere near the rim and it's 2 points. They aren't even all dunks, he's good at layups from hard angles. Just like AD that will lead to lots of points when the team isn't even running plays for him. If he develops a shot he could be an All Star.

To me his biggest issue is just his strength right now. He seems to have a pretty good frame to get bigger and stronger.

The amount he’s grown in the last couple of years it will take a minute for his weight to add up, but he has a good frame.

Yeah, I mean just look at his Dad.
The guy has the build to be a monster if he wants it.

He is the prefect athletic center to play next to Zion. He and Zion just need to work on their shot and this team is stacked.

I agree with the finishing around the rim comparisons to AD. His vball tap in at the end was amazing.
I just feel he is too light in the arse right now to play against NBA fives when it comes to rebounding positioning. A strong big like Favors will just move him out of position while the ball is in the air.
Maybe we can work out a trade where Zion gives some of his arse over to Hayes.

I'm a fan of Hayes, but my eyes followed NAW all through that video!

Griff kept emphasizing the development of core strength. I dig it.
