What's the deal with this. If you're going to give the key of city to someone, wouldn't you do it with someone who is from the area and has been a positive role model in the community, giving back, holding charities, etc. Vick was born and raised in Virginia, played college in Virginia, then went to Atlanta, prison, Philly, and whatever team he finished his career with. What did he do for Dallas besides score a couple touchdowns against the Cowboys?
Or for Rkelly, he was born and raised in Illinois, what has he done for Nola exactly besides a couple concerts and probably sleep with the mayor's daughter if she had one.

She wasn't the mayor - she was a metro councilwoman and is a state legislator now. But point taken. My grandmother got a key from Tom Ed McHugh way back in the day. I always like to tell her she has something in common with R. Kelly. Of course, she doesn't know who that is.
