How will Bitcoin react?

ETA: Tweet might be a little blurry

I am not a fan of Bitcoin and other Cryptocurrencies, which are not money, and whose value is highly volatile and based on thin air. Unregulated Crypto Assets can facilitate unlawful behavior, including drug trade and other illegal activity....

....Similarly, Facebook Libra’s “virtual currency” will have little standing or dependability. If Facebook and other companies want to become a bank, they must seek a new Banking Charter and become subject to all Banking Regulations, just like other Banks, both National...

...and International. We have only one real currency in the USA, and it is stronger than ever, both dependable and reliable. It is by far the most dominant currency anywhere in the World, and it will always stay that way. It is called the United States Dollar!

They’re just scared of crypto because they know it’s the end of corrupt banking. If he’s smart he’ll be buying.

Reasoning on why crypto would be less corrupt than modern day banking?

So bitcoin went from $19k dec '17 to $3k dec '18 because it wasn't corrupt? seems reasonable to me

probably not. I'm guessing a us backed crypto replaces the dollar at some point. far cheaper to make crypto than printing real money and then you can enforce taxes on cash only businesses

Crypto can only survive if a system is created such that crypto works in harmony with cold hard cash.

Disasters have already proven that electronic commerce is not a complete solution. It makes the public too vulnerable and helpless.

Trust me, it will survive. I’ve seen the future when I was on the brink of death in 2014. I didn’t understand it then but I do now.

This is actually bullish AF because so many people will want to prove Trump wrong.

The tech most certainly will survive. It just has to work with cold hard cash and be value backed. It will get figured out but in the end, the world can run w/out crypto. It can't run w/out cash.
