I am planning a trip to Italy next May for me and the missus. I like to plan my own trips, stay at VRBOs, etc., but I punched some numbers into their website for a Rome-Florence-Venice package, and holy crap! It looks like a great deal.

Any experiences?

I've heard good things from people I know that use it. Sometimes they're cheaper, sometimes they're not.

Well they're quoting a full package price for a 3-city trip at $5400. I'm having trouble finding plane tickets for less than $1800 a person independently, so I'm assuming the discounts are bigger the farther out you book.

I’ve used them once and it was a good experience.

Used them to Hawaii rental coming up in December. Got a bigger car for a lot less. We'll see how it plays out.

I've had luck when bundling via Priceline/Expedia/Travel Advisor as well.

Sometimes... All-Inclusives or Caribbean stuff? Probably a good bet. Europe or Asia? Not so much...

Tripmasters.com
MSY to Rome for 3 nights, train to Florence for 3 nights, train to Venice for 2 nights. Airfare, 3-4 star hotel each night, and train tickets for $1500.00 per person. May 16-24. I use them for every trip and the prices are tough to beat.

Never used them for trips but book through costco for most of my rental cars. Good price, free extra driver, no issues.

I am using them for a trip next week. All good so far. The prices were the same as every other travel site and it came with a $200 Costco gift card.

They have great resort deals and were the lowest priced website for the DR. Extras like free transportation from airports, excursions and Costco gift card were all gravy since base price was cheapest already.

+1 for Tripmasters- Gate1 is great too, but you can customize so much more with Tripmasters.
