Voted in a bunch of “moderate” Dems in suburban purple districts who pledged to bring decency and respect back to D.C. only for the House to be a giant dumpster fire of Muh tax returns / colluhsion / obstruction. Do these voters care ? If not, that’ll be trouble in 2020.

Just a made up narrative to mask stealing elections. There was no such legitimate groundswell for the Democrats.

I don’t think so either or they would’ve won the Senate too. I think that target demo probably stayed home in 2016 or voted Hillary

It doesn’t matter how they feel, they’ll get duped again and again by false propaganda that tugs at their heart strings instead of their reasoning.

I live in one of those districts. I emailed Colin Allred a couple of weeks ago telling him I do not support any movement forward toward impeachment of the President. I asked him to break with his party and urge them to put the 2016 election behind us for the good of the country. I clicked a box asking for no response.

So, he decided to respond anyway. He regurgitated annoying and tired Democratic Party talking points and lectured me on what the Mueller Report meant and deciphered Mueller’s press conference statement for me.

What an arrogant douche.

This times 10. I held my nose & voted for Pete Sessions because I knew Collin Allred was a complete fraud & would not cross the aisle at all to work with the other side like every tv ad we saw. On a side note I find it hilarious that he never once had a tv ad showing his white wife. Right after he wins she is right by his side everywhere. He didn’t want the black community to know he was married to a white woman. His campaign strategists were cold blooded.

I’m guessing many if not most don’t feel duped at all. These are low information voters we are talking about and they likely don’t know of the garbage that they voted for or care about it.

It is why we had a republic that limited voting. It was for herd immunity to stupidity.

I truly believe that at least 50% of voters couldn't even tell you who they voted for in the 2018 midterms.

Every Allred ad I saw he never discussed his plans or party affiliation, it was just a bunch of vague feel good platitudes "we need to come together" etc.

The only ad I saw from his camp that ever talked policy was saying that Pete Sessions and the Republicans want to take away your health care.

they ONLY got control of the house because 45 republican never trumpers retired for the express purpose to let those seats be won by dimms when dimms were only a dozen or so seats behind.

and even with that prearranged situation, almost rigged for dimms to win those seats easy, many dimms couldnt pull it off so it was a narrow victory

That tells me that Allred himself didnt respond.

I guarantee you if you called him a rape enabler because he played football at Baylor you'd get a far more genuine response.
