Looking to make a financial investment into reusable ice packs for a soft backpack type cooler to keep some drinks chilled during long days in the heat.

Bought some igloo ice packs at Academy recently that work well. You can always freeze water bottles as well and use those bring down cooler temp instead of ice.

Then you have a bottle of water after your beer is all gone.

reading up on techni ice, although may be a good product, shite seems too complicated when you have to read damn directions and have hydrating and dehydrating steps to use them.

Been using the Cooler Shock packs for a couple years now. They work great in my backpack cooler.

I've had good luck with both Arctic Ice and Yeti's ice packs.

Link to the former: LINK /

Probably are about as tough and work as well as Yeti at a bit of a discount.

It's a gel pack that you add water to then seal with an iron.

If you have a vacuum sealer make your own with the guts of a diaper and water.
