Yep, been out here for about 4 years now. Phoenix is a great place to live, if you can get through the summer.

We mostly only went during the holidays but when we did go during the summer months I found it fine.

The Louisiana humidity imo makes summer months worse.

Why? If you are looking to overclock like a madman, all the new stuff has them.

I was just curious. The successor to my beloved i5 8400 has an f designation. So I looked it up wondering what that meant.

Your 8400 will be good for years. Not worth upgrading.

I'm not interested in upgrading, I was just curious why it didn't have integrated graphics. Even the Pentiums still do.

Coyote, you may enjoy this

You can build decks from the OG base set days and play them against other decks in that format. I've had a blast playing some of the old school lists like rain dance and alakazam stall

I ordered the NUC today and a LG 43" Ultrawide.

What I am doing is mounting the NUC onto the back of the monitor and mounting it all to this TV stand

So I can use it to work off of when I am in other parts of my house besides my office.

I am going to make it clean looking so it's not so ghetto and plan on adding a keyboard try using a mounting arm and welding supports to mount a wood desktop.

I will post pics when finished.

Are you a librarian at a local school?

Edt: I like the setup BTW. My next house I plan to build all my office furniture on wheels.

Perhaps

I like the idea of portable but I will keep a true desktop setup in my office. I want this for various reasons but mostly because I like to sit on the sofa and work in the evenings when the GF is home but hate doing it on a laptop because I need a wide monitor for many tasks.

I am surprised that something like this doesn't exist already and instead I am having to Frankenstein it together. The closest thing I found was a few standing desk but I can't wheel those out of site when company comes over like I will be able to with this. I can still use it as a standing desk as well when completed.

Considering incorporating this into instead of building my own but not sure how I would mount it

This will be the first version of it. I am sure I will go through a few of them to get it just right.

The NUC PC is supposed to be decent for gaming too with AMD RFX graphics. Just hope it doesn't run too hot in that small form factor.

Developer Quantic Dream has shared PC release dates for its previously PlayStation-exclusive narrative adventures Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls, and Detroit: Become Human - and all three will be getting demos ahead of launch.

First up is Quantic Dream's pulpy serial killer crime drama Heavy Rain, which arrives on PC - or more specifically the Epic Games Store, given Quantic's decision to restrict sales to Epic's shop - on June 24th. It'll cost $19.99 USD (around £15), but if you fancy taking it for a test-drive before slapping your money on the table, a demo launches on 24th May.

Beyond will also cost $19.99 USD (still around £15) when it comes to PC on 22nd July, and its demo arrives on 27th June.

Last up on the PC release front is Quantic Dream's most recent offering, the rights-for-robots sci-fi thriller Detroit: Become Human. This one, is scheduled to release some time this autumn for $39.99 USD (around £30) and there's a demo coming at a non-specific future point this "summer".

The only thing missing is the $4000 laserdisc player from 1988.

I love what you bring here but please post links.

I like to see sources and might want more context from the article.

Can anyone recommend a mid tower case in the $100-$120 range.

Build will consist of:

Asus - ROG STRIX Z390-E GAMING ATX LGA1151 Motherboard
Intel - Core i5-9600K 3.7 GHz 6-Core Processor
Noctua - NH-D15S 82.52 CFM CPU Cooler
Asus - GeForce RTX 2070 8 GB STRIX GAMING Advanced Video Card

Just want to make sure I don't have any airflow issues. Looking at the Fractal Design - Meshify C ATX Mid Tower Case. This will be my first build and have all of my components picked out, but deciding on the case is giving me fits.
