Zion's marketability

Zion will be a minimum 3 or 4 times the star AD was for us. Zion's infectious smile, personality, dunking style is the american wet dream. AD had great skill set but lacked the marketability aspect to companies. AD's best chance at taking his stardom to the next level is hitching his wagon to Zion now IMO. Be best buds, adopt this kid, take him under your Red Bull Wings and start flying high together IMO.

I never once considered an AD jersey.

AD was a pretty good "lets go see him" player in the league when the pels traveled...

He's also probably going to top the league in jersey sales and bring in actual bandwagon fans from around the world.

AD is not good-looking or well-spoken. Those facts severely limit his star potential and endorsement possibilities. That's why I have to laugh at the people who say, "he's a top-5 player in the NBA, so he should be making as much $$$ as _____."

It doesnt have shite to do with looks lol. If ANYTHING, AD's goofy appearance gave his persona a boost out of the gate.
It's that he's never spoken above a whisper or jumped on a scorers table or showed any semblance of killer instinct outside of Portland series and a handful of shots in 7 years. OKC game winner comes to mind.

Nothing to do with AD's looks. The unibrow is unique to him, but it's ok to say Zion is more marketable without calling AD ugly. KD has the worst hair I've seen in sports history that I can remember and makes a killing every year even back to OKC days.
