Alleva is 100% done after this. No matter the outcome.

That seems very logical. However, that means he will probably get a huge raise and extension.

It's amazing how many people are willing to prostrate themselves to make millions of dollars. Lotta guys would take the LSUHC job even with probation. Millions of salary and no real high expectations will draw applicants.

That being said, we'll be lucky to get a GREAT HC like WW.

They wouldnt. Thats why LSU ended up with Ed O when they had a yr and a half to find someone. ED O may turn out to be a blessing, time will tell on that, but its amazing that he got the job with a yr and half to search at a stacked LSU program. I wonder what the odds of that was going into the football season?

So anyone thinking the interim HC has no chance, like less than 10% if he makes it to the sweet 16 or better hasnt paid much attn.

I dont believe LSu will do this but Id take 10-1.

I think LSU's best chance of surviving this is to go get a top Coach somewhere and empty the bank and give him the AD job as well or guarantee it to him when hes ready. This is the sad state of affairs LSU has gotten to. So freaking sad.
If Alleva stays, we will continue to be in the boat of why would anyone successful want to work at LSU.

1. He likes money
2. He thinks he could succeed by means up to but avoiding getting recorded talking about paying recruits.

I think the administration should have held off on the suspension, but it's naive to think Wade didn't frick up at all. Unless the full record comes out and proves that he was talking about someone else making an offer to the recruit (unlikely), it seems like he committed a major infraction

Lots of people give Tim Brando shite for various reasons, as do I. He preached this during the miles fiasco, it’s well know on coaching circles how fricked the LSU admin has been and will continue to be. Thus limiting our choices and ending up with Coach o. Absolute mess

1) Any coach coming here won't be stupid enough to discuss buying players on a phone call.

2) If we get hit with major sanctions, it's not going to matter who the coach is.

Well at least now we have the confirmed answer to explain why our football coaching search was so lackluster. Top coaches know the game, and who is sloppy carrying it out. Agreeing to coach here was a risk many weren't willing to take.

$$$$$$
Lots of them.

Or, an up and coming guy who wants a chance on the big stage.

BTW, you forget that it is Will Wade who has put LSU, it's alumni and fans in harms way. How about a statement from Mr. Wade "I have committed no infractions or violated any laws"?
Maybe he's as pure as the driven snow and just a pawn. But, if he has placed the University at risk and severe penalties results will you still be loving him as LSU burns?

Asking your coach to meet with you about allegation reports about FBI wiretaps is a bad thing for a school to do?
