Florida Police officer found guilty of manslaughter for killing black motorist

Jury only deliberated for about 4 hours. The attempted first degree murder charge carries a potential life sentence.

A Palm Beach County jury found Raja guilty on Thursday of the October 2015 shooting of 31-year-old Corey Jones. Raja now faces up to life in prison when he's sentenced.

What does the race of the motorist have to do with this? Honest question? Are they charging him with a hate crime?

This one almost started race riots but the PB Gardens police department stepped up and took care of the family early on. They cut the cop loose and took responsibility.
It also happened in Oct 2015 and was part of the cops killing black men discussion. Jesse and Al came down after it happened.

Well the OT probably wanted to know if the motorist was black so they could know if the verdict was just or not.
Black? Sounds like the cop should have been found not guilty based on the evidence.

It almost started race riots here but the PD took responsibility for the cop’s stupid actions early.
The victim was Anquan Bolden’s cousin. This shooting is one of the reasons NFL Players started kneeling for the anthem.

Yep. Then the cop shot him, so the dude turned to run and the cop shot him multiple times. He didn’t have to kill him. This is all on an entrance ramp to I 95 where the guy had stopped to fix a flat. He was on the phone with AAA roadside when the cop came at him hard.
