I like my music thuggishly loud in the gym.

Is there a particular brand of loud affordable earbuds that you like?

The OG Iphone headphones a few gens back were GOAT but have come and gone.

Preferably wireless but corded is fine also.

Touche'

I should have put a disclaimer of "As long as the sound does not bleed out of the headphones where others can hear".

Im not trashy about it.

Have you ever thought of noise cancelling so that it maybe doesnt have to be as loud to get the same affect. I am not a huge fan of hearing loss, Haha.

Name checks out.

To the OP, save your hearing. It will suck when you can't hear anything in your 60s.

I'm not sure if you want them loud so everyone can hear what you're listening to or to drown out other sounds around you. If the latter, then I suggest getting noise cancelling headphones because you should never try to drive out unwanted sound with more sound because that will damage your hearing long term. If the former, then quit being a tool. You don't look cool and no one gives a shite what you're listening to.

I have the yurbud leap wireless headphones and they get pretty loud. I turn my music device all the way up and the headphones themselves have another 7-8 volume levels I can go to.

If I max it out I can't even think.

Not really trying to hijack here, but are higher dollar earbud/ head phones worth it for runners?
Seems like all I get are ones around $20. They last a few months, maybe 6 or so, and then crap out because I sweat so much.

I have had $150 ear buds and they break just as fast as the $20 ones. Now days I usually buy a pair when they go on sale and have back up. Always noise isolating.

Gone through 3 pairs of expensive earbuds that crapped out after about 8 months. Just stopped working, no sign of damage. The cheap ones don’t sound as good but they last I guess just as long. My newest ones are 11 months in so I’m crossing my fingers. They claim the earbuds are water resistant but I think sweat gets in there eventually and they short out.

What are y'all doing to these earbuds?

I've had the ones I mentioned above for almost 3 years now and haven't had a single problem.

Yes absolutely provided they fit correctly. I’ve put hundreds of miles though my Jaybird x2s and had no issues. Just picked up some Bose pods type and they seem great too so far. Only have maybe 20 miles on em so we’ll see

I’ve had a pair of Bose soundsport Bluetooth buds for 18 months and they sound as good as the day I bought them. I run 20-30 miles a week and have even taken them out on runs in a light rain multiple times with no issues whatsoever.

They are the first pair of ear buds that have ever lasted me longer than 5-6 months.
