Give an interview pertaining an on going investigation? Wouldn’t that be slightly irregular?

He's no longer employed by the gov't. Can they tell him to shut it minus a gag order?

What if he ends up in jail? Wouldn't it be great if the Son of Sam law was invoked and he had to give back any money made from this ridiculous work of fiction?

I’m not qualified to speak on this subject but I would have to think the former head of the FBI is under a pretty sturdy NDA. Especially concerning current investigations into the sitting POTUS. makes me think everyone knows this is a glorified carnival side show

Well you start:
Chapter 1: How my mother intimidated me.
Chapter 2: How my neighbor’s chihuahua, Lady, intimidated me.
Chapter 3: How Loretta Lynch intimidated me.
Chapter 4: How Trump intimidated me.
Chapter 5: How my editor intimidated me.
Chapter 6: How I plan on taking the 5th, please don’t intimidate me.

Perhaps he's utilizing a law degree to represent himself and thus exposing he has a fool for a client?

Well, if they can continue to investigate Trump and all associated with him in perpetuity without and charges or evidence of a crime, why not?

Considering he was the FBI director and had a Top Secret security clearance, I'm pretty sure he's got quite a strict non-disclosure agreement that would be enforceable regardless of whether or not he's still employed by the government.
Only question is whether or not the particular things he's talking about in his book and interviews would actually have violated that NDA...or if it did violate the NDA but maybe Trump is waiting for him to spill the beans on something classified at a higher level before dropping the hammer on him.

Won’t happen. The big pussy will take the Warden Norton route before he goes to jail.
