Methusalah died in the same year of the flood, probably in the flood, which would imply he didn't do as God said.

Or maybe God held off the flood until after Methuselah died.

My great uncle lived to almost 102 years. He told me that if a man aint dead by the time he is 85, they should take him out in the woods and shoot him. He lived by himself up until a month of his death. He said that everyone he grew up with and new were dead. He had a great sense of humor but he was ready to go home to God and family.

This is the shite that worries me. I don’t want to outlive everyone I know and be lonely. My grandfather lived to be 92 and my cousin and I visited him almost every day towards the end. He was a good man.

I really, REALLY wouldn’t want to outlive my kids. I don’t even have kids but that seems like it would absolutely suck.

Had a great aunt live to 106. She knew more about LSU and Saints football until she was 105.5 than anyone I’ve ever known.

And I take it a day at a time. I think we all are born with an expiration date and it happens when it happens.

In this scenario life expectancy is high for everyone, meaning most people you know would live as long as you. This isn't where you're by yourself and everyone else is subject to the current life expectancy of 80.
