I think that is the one my buddy just got, I like it a lot, very slim and shoulders great. Havent shot it yet but it is a sweet gun, quite expensive though, 1800 iirc.

I am waiting to hear more about it myself. I checked one out at Cabela's a little while back, it was a very nice firearm. Cost and it being the middle of Christmas kept me from pulling the trigger. Now that the bug has worn off, I want to hear about some experiences with it before I take the plunge.

My hunting partner has one, which he upgraded from a weatherby. It is a great gun. I use a Franchi (made by Benelli in Italy). There are some differences, but I paid $799 for mine and he paid $2000 for his and they shoot ducks all the same. The Franchi is lightweight, cycles great, and is inertia as well. The OB here guided me too it and it was exceptional this season.

$1800 for a shotgun

I bought an $800 Winchester SX4 and have zero complaints.

I have one. Shot the Beretta A400 for years and just swapped to the SBE3 this year. Love it. It's much slimmer than the A400...More sleek. Kicks about the same as the A400 (both a great). Cheek pad is legit. I'd give the edge to the SBE3 over the A400 but they are both great and top of the line shotguns.

Just gave my son one for Christmas and I shoot the A400. I like the SBE3, slim and shoulders well like others said and so easy to breakdown and clean, the Berretta A400 does kick a little less but is bigger and more complicated but I have a bad shoulder so it is the best choice for me. I say get the SBE3.

I like it. A lot. Shoulders and swings better for me than the Maxus, the A-5 or the SX3. Not a fan of the A400, due to fit and aesthetics.

How does it compare to other SBE's. I have the original and a SBE2 is it enough of an upgrade that I need to make it a trifecta.

Probably not but it definitely sounds like you need one.

I would do it just to have the trio but if they start pumping them out like iPhones I'll have to stop somewhere so no time like the present.
