Since Spring is close and everyone is getting the itch to get back on the green pasture, what are some your of your best web videos(YouTube) that can you can share to help us lower our strokes?

Nothing has been as helpful as getting my own swing on video. Seeing things is so different than feeling them. And watching someone else means nothing if you can’t truly implement it with practice. You might think you’re doing it but you probably aren’t.

What is the best app for recording and viewing swing? I have heard there are apps that let you draw lines and do different speeds etc.

There is a new teaching app that uses your videos to teach you. Maybe150 for a year of lessons based on the video of your swing.

I like Pete as well. Would love to recreate his smooth tempo.

What’s your opinion of Mark Crossfield?

Mark is extremely knowledgeable as a teacher.

I watch him for teaching & course vlogs if I’m bored. I’ll watch rick for club reviews, but Pete just kinda annoys me for some reason.

I follow gankas on Twitter, he sounds like a douche but his vids and posts have helped me a good bit.

I feel the same way. I like his course vlogs (he uses psychological warfare very effectively!).

I also really like the fact that after every club review he says to just go get fit professionally and see what works for you.

This if I have to choose, but what ell said is basically true for me.

Vids of basic drills are better for me than swing theory. My miss is fat because I often have zero lower body movement. I do not fire my hips. This ball forward video(and those like it) helped me way more than just a theory video you'd see from some of the bigger names in youtube golf.

If it's not from Cartbarnguys it aint worth learntin'

Cartbarn Guys

ETA: For real though, I enjoy rick shields instructional videos. He doesnt get caught up in alot of mechanics but more the science behind the mechanics. Also enjoy Top Speed Golf - Clay Ballard. Excellent explanation and drills.

Monte Scheinblum keeps it pretty simple.

Also, check out Shaun Webb’s Gears videos and Athletic Motion Golf. They accurately measure exactly what elite golfers are doing during a swing. Eliminates a lot of the feel vs real confusion.

Second Peter Finch, and also Me and My Golf. They have great drills and tips, and their production value is great

I use air to remove.

Someone told me regular masking tape and air on works well. I need new grips and I’m going to try it.
