I attended the volleyball game this evening (they kicked Miss States arse like the football team should have) and thought I would get a bite to eat. $17 for a chicken basket and a coke? Lord have mercy I hope they raised the prices so they could pay for Coach O's buyout. It's quite the jump from last year

ETA: the chicken/fries was also a significant drop off from the previous years

Yeah LSU prices are just as bad or perhaps worse than Saints games.

Are all LSU concessions that expensive? I fully accept that I'm going to overpay when I go to an event, but $17 for chicken and a coke seems steep for a college venue.

Or stop at a fast food joint of your choice and stuff your face before going inside the arena.

Don't pay the rip-off LSU concession prices.

You do realize Aramark did not just take over football, but all LSU concessions?

It’s like the Mike-the-Tiger crying vid—Alleva’s going to find a way to charge for air to breathe.

Well that means he offered the chicken vendor a $12 million buyout, so I guess we're stuck with mediocre, overpriced chicken too.

You know how you guys can change prices at concessions at an LSU event. Stop buying concessions at an LSU event. This is still America. Supply and demand still exists. As long as LSU keeps making X amount of dollars on concessions they won’t lower the prices. They drop below that they will lower prices to get more people to buy. Quit feeling sorry for yourselves and act like there is nothing you can do. Enough people stop spending money and LSU will get the hint.

Yep, if no one bought concessions things would change for the better very fast.

He will blame the economy for decrease in concessions revenue and not the fact that he has brought in mediocrity and increased prices on all things athletics... to include a fricking parking spot.
